Bicycle rental in Mumbai, India

I’ve been planning to start something like this for a while now. Also had a few discussions with a friend about this. But the idea didn’t even get to the design boards. Now a firm in Mumbai has started something quite similar. Eco Move Solutions has started a bicycle rental with over 40 stations across the city. I’m sure as hell gonna call these guys the next time I fly out to Mumbai.

    My name is Dharmendra. Live in Mumbai. I am doing cycling ….and also taking part in Mumabai cyclothon 2010. But I do not have good cycle. If you are renting cycles..I would like to hire for few days….Please let us know immediately.

    I don’t cycle that much around Mumbai, so my dad doesn’t want to buy me a cycle because he’s afraid I’ll never use it.
    I really want to rent a cycle because my friends want to cycle from bandra to churchgate and back. I really want to go but i dont have a cycle.

    Guys, thanks for writing in. Do check out http://www.fremo.in for more information on what you can do in Mumbai. I think buying a bicycle is a very good investment.
